Nabi Muhammad berkata:
" Sesungguhnya Jibrail diberi tugas bagi menguruskan segala keperluan anak Adam. Sekiranya seorang hamba yang kafir berdoa, ALLAH berkata kepada Jibrail,
'Hai Jibrail, tunaikanlah keperluannya. Sesungguhnya AKU tidak suka mendengar permintaannya.' Dan sekiranya seorang hamba MUKMIN berdoa, ALLAH berkata kepada Jibrail,
'Wahai Jibrail, jangan kau tunaikan dahulu keperluannya, kerana AKU suka mendengar permohonanya.'
